An independent, trusted perspective

FOR PARENTS
———

Prologue offers an independent voice you can trust. Whether your child is working with us on mentoring, undertaking a programme or a work placement, we take the time to understand each student, push their thinking and help them make better-informed decisions. We then provide the structure and accountability to act on them.

In all cases, we work with parents, not around them, adding experience, objectivity and a different perspective, while helping the student take growing ownership of the choices ahead.

Parents have a central part to play as their children work out what comes after sixth form. Yet the conversations that count most - about direction, choices, ambition and next steps - are often the hardest ones to have around the kitchen table.

Independent, never isolated

WORKING WITH PARENTS
———

Our relationship is first and foremost with the student, but parents stay very much in the picture.

Getting the balance right is important. Students need enough independence to speak freely, explore ideas and own their decisions. Parents need reassurance that the conversations have purpose, challenge and direction behind them.

So we work alongside you while protecting the independence that gives the relationship its value. The goal is a student who can increasingly explain their reasoning, make well-informed choices and take charge of what comes next.

HOW PROLOGUE CAN HELP
———

The right support at the right time.

Students do not become ready for life after sixth form overnight. Each one needs different experiences, perspectives and support, and at different moments.

MENTORING
One-to-one mentoring brings focus, challenge and accountability, helping students examine their options, sharpen their direction and turn good intentions into real progress.

LABORATORIES
Short, practical programmes give students knowledge, tools and skills they will rely on after sixth form, with the chance to put them into practice before the stakes are real.

ACADEMIES
Immersive, hands-on programmes let students explore a professional field in depth, take on demanding real-world challenges, develop skills that travel and build solid evidence of what they can do.

WORK PLACEMENTS
Carefully chosen work experience gives students a first-hand view of a professional setting, with preparation, active support, employer feedback and reflection to help them get the most from it.

What would help your child most right now?

STARTING THE CONVERSATION
———

Some students know exactly where they are heading. Some are torn between several routes. Some have questions about university, degree apprenticeships or a specific profession. Others simply need more focus, challenge or momentum.

We do not start with a set route or programme. We start by understanding where your child is today, where they want to get to and what would genuinely help them get there.
